Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga will perform at this year’s Oscar ceremony, The Academy confirmed on social media.
The A Star is Born duo, who are both hotly tipped to win Oscars at the event on February 24, will perform ‘Shallow’ which is nominated for Best Original Song. The film itself is nominated for Best Picture whilst Cooper and Lady Gaga are nominated for Best Actor and Actress respectively.
Sam Elliot is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film, which has also received nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography and Sound Mixing.

In a series of tweets over the past few days, The Academy has also confirmed that Jennifer Hudson will perform at the ceremony, as will Gillian Welch and David Rawlings.
There is no word yet on whether or not Kendrick Lamar and SZA will perform their song ‘All the Stars’ from Black Panther.
